Cervical Cancer Awareness campaign

A group of students taking HEC102 - Macroeconomics from the Mass Communication degree program present:

Cervical Cancer kills a women every four minutes (WHO). Being the second most common cancer among women, it claims 700 lives annually in Malaysia. The National Cancer Society of Malaysia's (NCSM) campaign entitled 'Power Over Cervical Cancer' was launched by the Ministry of Health (Malaysia) in July 2009. Its aim was to educate women on cervical cancer and encourage them to seek advice from healthcare professionals for preventive measures.

With that, students from the Department of Communication have decided to contribute towards this cause by carrying out a two-day campaign.
