World Cup 2010 Special (Part II)

Here are what others have to say about the ongoing tournament:

Mr. Liew C.K.

Supports: Argentina

Why: Being an avid supporter of the Argentinean team since 1998, he expressed that Argentina stands a good chance to win the World Cup this year due to the training provided by their coach, Diego Maradona. Furthermore, he also said that the team has balanced strengths in all of their positions. He added that they play together as a team rather than as an individual. This can be seen when its star player, Lionel Messi created different opportunities for his team mates to score in the previous matches, according to CK.

Wesley Goh Wah Hong

Supports: Japan and Germany

Why: Too bad that the Japanese team is out, but hopefully Germany will win because I’m sick of South American teams winning. Period. Lol.

Kavitha Selvam
Supports: Brazil

Reason: I support Brazil ever since i start watching football at the age of 14. They have world class legendary players such as Pele, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and now two of my favourite players are Kaka and Robinho. Brazil players are top class players and very energetic. My heart beats fast whenever I watch them playing on the field. I’m the only Brazilian supporter in my family and others support Argentina and England. Watching my teams match alone and screaming whenever they score is fun! I really wish Brazil to own the golden World Cup for the sixth time!

Ms. Christabel

Supports: Portugal

Why: Good tactics displayed by the Portugal team are one of the main reasons why she chooses to give her support to Portugal. Also, watching her favourite footballer Cristiano Ronaldo playing for the team comes as an extra bonus.

Emily Tan Siau Ling

Supports: Germany or Argentina

Why: Her reason is because both teams are playing so well with them making good progress in the tournament. This makes it difficult to fully support one team as both of them deserve the fan support.

Helene Gomez
Supports: Germany
Why: They've got great players that complement each. You've got the best defender Philipp Lahm, midfielder Schweinsteiger, and forward Podolski all in one team. Come on, what more can you ask for!
They're gonna lift up the cup this year! :)
