Runway 101: The Semi-final

The pressure is on as the 21 semifinalists as they presented their best poses and catwalk in front of the cheering crowd during Runway 101’s semifinal s Wednesday. The event was held at the Lower Foyer of HELP's Main Block.

Participants were to present their designated theme of clothing given by the judges namely, Bohemian Princess and New York Glam. The event kicked off at noon with host Shannon Goh welcoming the judges Sabrina, Dennis and Stéfanie.

Each participant was required to do a catwalk and strike a few poses before retreating for a 30-minute break. Results were then announced whereby the participants were shortlisted to 12 finalists.

Kimberley Han, who was a first timer in a model-searching competition, said she felt great that she was chosen as a finalist.

“It just makes me so overwhelmed and proud of myself,” she said.

Another finalist is Saki Gao said she never thought of becoming a finalist as there are a lot of new things she has to learn.

"I will try my best, no matter what is the result, " added Saki.
